    Search Results Page
     
When users complete the search, relevant findings will be displayed in the search results page. Explanations about various types of information you can find in the search results page are as follow:
1. Query Box
  Search keywords will be shown in the query box to remind users of the keywords entered.。
Users can also enter keywords in the query box to submit search.
2. Simple Search
  Users can click on Simple Search to go back to Simple Search page.
3.Delete Records
  As administrator login to OES to conduct search, there will be a Delete Records option to the right of the query box. Administrator can use this option to remove any inappropriate information from being shown in the search results page. Instructions on how to use Delete Records are as follow:
  A. Select data for deletion.
  B. Click on the Delete button.
  C. User will be redirected to search page after deletion.
4. Search Information
  Search Information section indicates the search keywords, the total number of results and how long it takes to complete the search.
 
5. Options
  When administrator clicks on Options, the screen will show/hide the following two options:
  Sort by
    User has the option to set search results sorting methods, OES currently supports 6 different sorting methods and they can be sorted in ascending or descending order.
  ‧Score(Default)
  ‧Date
  ‧Size
  ‧Title
  ‧Filename
  ‧Author
  Note: If it is a XML index, it shows the xml field name in these options.
  Results Per Page
    User can flexibly adjust the number of results shown per page. (e.g., 10, 20 or 50)

6. Relative Terms
  OES will analyze the relativity between each term in the search results, and dynamically show the relative terms for users to refer to.
 
7. Result
  Each result item contains the following information:
  A. File Type
  OES supports multiple file types, and each icon indicates different file types.
B. Title
  Title is displayed in web page format, when the user clicks on title, OES will automatically link to the web page (location of the source file). For document data types, the system will generate a pop-up window for the user to save/open new file.
C. Snippet
  Display partial information for each result and highlight search keywords in red.
D. E-government Classification
  By clicking a specific category, users can view all data in that category.
E. URL or File Location
F. Size
G. Date
H. Cached File
  In the event that you are unable to link to source path of the file, you can access OES cached file by clicking on the Cached link.
    ‧Web Page: Access system temporary Internet files.
    ‧Document: Access Plain-text data.
    ‧Compressed file: Show the filename list in the archive.
    ‧Audio/Video: Show the extracted information, such as duration and sample rate.
8. Group by date / Group by type / Group by author
  Display of search results as group with hyperlinks for users in represent the file properties and categorized results to specific date range, file type, and author.
  A. Date
  Yearly or Monthly file count that documented in recent years and four years ago.
  B. Type
  List the amount of files in top 10 types.
  C. Author
  List the amount of files by top 5 Author name.
  D. Clear
  Group by E-gov Classification Display the result counts in each category. By clicking the category item, users can view all search results in the selected category.
  E. Clear
  Clear the filter settings and turn to the original search result page.
9. Search in Results
  Users can conduct search within the search results to narrow the search range for more precise results.
