How to Use Simple Search

Upon successful installation and
index configuration of OES, user can access OES Simple Search
page using the following
hyperlink.
http://<IP>:<port>/search/
Note
1.
Default port is 7651, administrator can modify port setting in
the Administration page.2. To make sure
the system contains data to provide search service, please
complete at least one index prior to using search
options.

1. You will be directed to
search page with the above hyperlink, please select index
first before conducting search.
2. Enter keyword in the
query box
‧For multiple keywords
search, please use "space" as a separator between
keywords.
‧About other query
syntax, please refer to Users' Guide for more details.
3.
When entering keywords, OES will show hot similar query terms
for users to click and perform a quicker search.
4. Users
have the option to conduct Body (full-text) search or only
Filename search.
5. Press the Search button to execute
search, OES will generate results based on the search
terms. |
